Growing Prettier Every Day
Juliana is starting to become more grown up every day. I know it's hard to believe, but she learns new things and tries new things every day. I still don't think that she acts like a normal newborn. She is starting to smile more now too. She'll be looking up at me, and I'll smile and make faces and she will smile. It's so cute. These pictures are just kind've random, but cute. The first one is just adorable. She's in a little sleeper and cap which is sooo cute! The second picture is just a cute one of her on the couch wearing an outfit from her Aunt Mandy. The next one is a picture of the back of her head, so you can see just how much hair that she has. It's so soft! The next one is of her playing on her boppy pillow. The last one is of this past Sunday in her first little dress. She looked so adorable and so girly! Anyway, Juliana is doing great, even though we think that she might be a little colicky, but we're working on that.

Doctor's Appointment
Juliana went the the doctor today. They were concerned that she wasn't gaining weight like she should. When she was born she weighed 8lbs. 12oz, today she weighed in at 9lbs .6oz. She is still the same length, but the doctor said that she is in the 72nd percentile for weight and the 81st percentile for height. He was very, very impressed. I think that she is going to be fine. Juliana is also starting to get a real personality. She does very well at holding her head up for almost 20 seconds at a time sometimes. The other day when I put her on her back on a blanket, she rolled over on her side, but not all the way. I think she's trying to grow up a little too fast, but when you're that smart, how can one hold her back? These pictures are a good example of how she does when she's almost done eating. These pictures show a good representation of her mother and her father. :)

At Home and Settled
Now Juliana is at home. Her schedule consists mainly of eating, sleeping, staring at her mommy and daddy, eating, sleeping, and staring some more. She doesn't do very much yet, but I can already tell that she's wants to learn and grow up soon. She is already trying to hold her head up on her own, and can stiffen her legs and try to stand on your lap. I think that we've definitely got a child prodigy on our hands. :)
