Waiting and Waiting

We are now 5 weeks away from meeting little baby McRae. We are both so excited and yet getting very scared. We've never been parents before, so this is all a very new experience. The girls at Chick-fil-A (where Nathaniel works) are giving us a baby shower next week. One of the girls asked what we needed and then just decided to give us diapers. I don't why everyone thinks we're going to need those. :)

Nathaniel is now fully into his new schedule at Walmart. He is working from 2pm till 11pm now, which means that his hours at Chick-fil-A have been shortened until all the kids who work there in the summer go back to school. Thankfully, these cut hours only last for a month, and he should have his full schedule back by mid-August. God has been very good to us.

I am just sitting at home and relaxing after a very intense year of finishing college. I know that these 2 months of relaxation are going to end when the newest member of our family arrives, but I am enjoying them just the same. I had great goals that I was going to accomplish during this time, but I can't seem to get motivated to do them. Oh well.

Nathaniel and I are still planning on moving to Michigan in mid-October. Nathaniel's brother Zachary and his wife Patti have graciously redone their basement so that we can live their for as long as we need to save up money for a place of our own. I think Nathaniel and I are both looking forward to just being around family again. Although, it should be fun to move all of our stuff and a five week old baby. I'm looking forward to the challenge.
